How to deal with the food crisis under the 2022 global epidemic (Ⅱ)
Global problems require global countries to work together to deal with them.

In the face of global food security issues, China has played a vital role, Wang Yongchun, researcher at the Institute of Agricultural Information, Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences said, "As a member of the World Food Programme Executive Board, China has made positive contributions to solving world food security issues. Moreover, facing the international community, China provides humanitarian assistance to alleviate world food insecurity It has gradually become an important donor to the World Food Program.”
After stopped accepting food aid from the United Nations in 2005, China has become the world’s third largest food donor.

In 2022 and beyond, we may face more international risks in the area of food security.
First of all, climate change will be a long-standing international problem, and the resulting biological disasters and floods will bring great risks to food production.
Secondly, the number of hungry people in the world is on the rise again. In 2020, nearly 2.4 billion people in the world cannot get enough food, an increase of 300 million people in just one year.

These factors may bring greater risks to global food security and China's food security.
Therefore, if the development of the epidemic cannot be contained in time, the problem of world food security will become increasingly serious. Resisting the epidemic is a global problem that cannot be solved by a single country or region. We call on all countries must join hands and work together against this huge disaster.
